I am Roleplaying that Tala has found her old sword (broken, with depleted magicks) if anyone has read my updated bio or my journal.

I would love to be able to role-play it as "bonded" to her in a fashion.

Now, I definitely will need the option to use better swords as I go up in level/find them.

My thought was for it to have the power of "steal enchantment". Now, this is not a Monty Haul type sword, for that function to happen it takes time and sometimes a sacrifice of gold.

How I will do this in the game, is when I find a better long sword (like now I am using a +2 longsword), I will take the new one to a tailor and copy the appearance (and pay the 100 gold to change it's name). That will be done to simulate the sacrifice of gold.

Basically this is for pure role-play purposes. No special powers/coding/hacking needed. I just thought it might be a fun path of sorts to play.

Sadly, unless the admins do not want this in their game, it seems almost silly to request. With my job, I rarely get the chance to role-play with anyone, since I am usually heading to bed (or going to work) when most people play (I do enjoy my IC journal though).

Special role play sessions can be arranged at a mutually agreeable time with a DM. Prior to the session, the DM would also discuss with you how to fit your quest/story into RoA culture and history. Players may pay for special sessions with role play gems. What days of the week and times are best for you?

Since I restarted, I am without RP Gems (loosing the one I had is a fair trade).

I would not pester a DM to give me individual time, or work around my schedule, I just wanted feedback on my idea.

I see no problems with this.

On another note, as we get the crafting in place, there will be recipes for upgrading weapons in game - yes you have to find the resources, well after you find and buy a recipe, but yes you will be able to do upgrades with crafting which give many RP opportunities as well as adventure looking for the elements of the recipe.

Anyway, do the RP please.
